Sorry, only just seen this reply.

Sadly it didn't fix the issue in IE.

Instead i added this to my cpshop.cgi.images file

*||||<script src="//content.cafepress.com/js/oldBrowserPopup.js"></script>||||<!--Java removed-->

Which has removed it.

Note: I am still fully retired.  This is a one-shot deal.

I've attempted to put up a fix to this "moved permanently" issue.  For clarity's sake, it is an attempt by CafePress to block cpshop (again).  This update attempts to circumvent the issue, but it's only a matter of time before they do something more drastic.

Anyway, if you download and install the latest update (2.8x), I think it'll work.  Though you may want to take extra precautions beforehand, to make sure it works on your system, or wait for someone else more daring to confirm that it works.

I can't promise it'll work on all servers; it's using perl's LWP-UserAgent library, and I don't know that all webhosts offer it.  But it's the best solution I could think of that wouldn't require a complete rewrite or something equally time consuming.

Yes, CPShop is written in Perl, using cgi scripts that uses Cafepress' API engine and key to access Cafepress's data engine.  Marty is no longer supporting it and there never was a successor announced.  I decided not to get into Perl or even attempt to try to take it over.  It's dead.  Cafepress is dead.  I haven't designed or programmed in almost a year.  Cafepress turned it's back on us, the designers, and so did I.  Cafepress made so many mistakes and greed took them over.  Insider trading stock exchange lawsuits, taking away our own hard earned commissions.  Cafepress is done.  I went from thousands to hundreds.  Went from 30% to 20% to 10% and now 5% since I focus primarily on Fan Portal tv/movie designs....I will no longer devote any time at all to Cafepress.  Time to move on, people.  Sorry, it's the cold honest hard truth.

You just need to delete the files and folders associated with cpshop from your server. Off the top of my head most of them start with "cp", like cpshop.cgi, cplogin, cppage, cpdata, etc. Folders like cpcache, cpbackup, etc. If you changed any of the names of the files you're going to have to figure out what they are on your own though.

As for your main domain storefront, it depends on how you have it set up. If it's a static page, just leave it as is, if it's done through cpshop than deleting cpshop will have an effect on it.

Almost ready to just throw in the towel on this.  Some of the latest things I have tried based on recent suggestions…  I have verified shop ID in cpshop settings and proper capitalization.  I have downgraded to 2.7i but saw no change.  Have tried the standard cpshop template but get the same results.

Below is the store config in cpshop
FYI…  This is a premium shop.
Although, when I go to my CafePress control panel, there isn’t really anything denoting it as such.

Thank you all for your help.

Hey thanks,

That wouldn't be too hard to do.

Didn't think of that.
