Ok well I have been having trouble for a long time with the cpshop thing but thanks to my main man Marty he helped me out a lot! But I want to raise another question I dont know the answer to. My web page is http://www.augustclothingco.com
I have some tabs that say "Guys" and "Ladies" on the right and I wondering is there a way to Just put content of guys clothing there or ladies clothing there instead of having to bunch them all up un the main page. A friend told me that was to confusing so I am trying to fix that. All help is appreciated!

Regards, Steve

Try adding two new store ID entries in the store IDs section of cpadmin, that link directly to your guys and girls sections.

For example:

ID: augustco/1777850
Name: Guys
alias: guys
Sidebar: checked (don't show in sidebar)

Then you can link to
http://www.augustclothingco.com/store/index.cgi/guys
to get to that section.

And on a side note, you've updated the template to include the title, keywords and description.  That's not the idea -- the template should have the template tags in it -- <[title]>, <[keywords]> and <[description]>, just like that.

cpshop will replace <[title]> with the title of that particular page, and will replace the <[keywords]> and <[description]> tags with the appropriate content.

Ok just a question about the store ID, When I add a new store ID does that mean I have to create another cp store... That is only for guys or ladies?

It just means you go to the store IDs section of cpadmin, and add another entry below your current one.

OK well under the store ID would this be correct to put there to redirect that store id to the guys page. augustco/guys.html?
I guess im kind of confused with how adding another store ID will allow me to have another template page just for guys or girls.

OK well I fixed the tags in the template and set up the Store ID for a designer tees page, now how do I redirect that ID to just the template with the designers tees when someone clicks on "designer tees" tab on the main page?

First of all, the correct store ID is augustco/1769693, NOT main/augustco/1769693.

And linking to it is easy, just link to:

http://www.augustclothingco.com/index.cgi/designer

That's all.

The easiest way: in your first store ID entry, change the store ID from this:

augustco

to this:

augustco, cpfilter_killsection:1769693

(And I just did it for you.)
