Disappearing StoreIDs

I have about 45 storeids in use on our LagKills.com site for individual products - eg, pages for steins, mugs, onesies, etc.
A couple of months ago, I noticed that several at the bottom disappeared, and when the page was clicked, random stuff (I think from Marty's shop) was appearing.
I went and redid the StoreIDs, thinking I had messed up somewhere.
Today, it is doing it again - about 5 or 6 storeIDs have disappeared from my admin (the last few at the bottom after storeID number 37).
Here is an example of what comes up when I go to our keepsake boxes page:

Why is this happening - what has made my storeIDs disappear from my admin?
Is there a limit to how many you can have?

1. There's no limit.
2. You're not supposed to be able to save in cpadmin until the entire page is loaded (thanks to javascript), but occasionally someone pulls it off. That's usually how certain store IDs disappear -- cpadmin is loaded only partially, and some data is lost. (As I type this, I'm thinking of a way to prevent this from happening, which I'll integrate when I have a moment.)
3. The random products are coming up because you have dynamic direct linking turned on, and you're trying to reference aliases that don't exist. You're actually getting the magnets from http://www.cafepress.com/magnets, for example. Disable dynamic direct linking, clear your cache, and the random products should disappear.

Thank you, Marty. I do have a tendency to log in and do a quick cache clear when we've added products. I'll be a bit more patient now.
