I am wondering how others are using cafepress. Are you using Basic shops exclusively with CPShop or both?

When you use Basic shops for pulling into CPShop, how is the basic shop setup? (the shop info page in CP, etc.)

Do you still keep your CP shop organized in sections now and when you create new products?

I have one shop. Now that I have cpshop, should I just add products to cafepres without putting them in a section and just pull them into cpshop?

Do you just use cafepress to create products and just use cpshop for organizing?

I have never use basic shop. I got the premium since the begining and I currently use CPshop to pull products to my new shop at a new host.

Most people organize within their CafePress shops, and then do mirroring or reorganization within cpshop.

It's a good idea to keep both your cpshop and CafePress shop in good condition -- there's SEO and opportunity value in both.

As for basic shops, cpshop was written before premium shops existed, so basic shop support is there.  The main idea was to use store ID entry fields for each basic shop, essentially creating a 2-level premium shop.  Nowadays, maintaining a single premium shop is much easier than dozens or hundreds of basic shops.

(And I think there will come a time in the not-so-distant future where infinite free basic shops will become a thing of the past, but that's just a hunch.)
