Adding affiliate products to your store

I want to start adding affiliate products to my store but im not sure how best to achieve this. Currently i put one design on all my products into it's own section.

CP shop then grabs this and puts it into certain sections thanks to the filters. How can i do this with other peoples products? Would it be a case of just finding out the section Id number?

Will this put affiliate products in with the rest of mine or always at the top/bottom of all my products?

Can anyone suggest a better way?

You need the name of the store and the ID number of the design. Then in cpshop in your store id section, you add it there in this format:

tshirtcrusade/6441242

This is one of my t-shirts. You want to make sure you copied it all down right. To check, go to www.cafepress.com/tshirtcrusade/6441242 and this should lead you to the item.

Some days I just shop for products on the cafepress.com site. When I see a design I like, I get the store name (you have to look around for this sometimes) and the design number. It's the funnest part of the job!

Good luck.

One more thing: my sort order is set to "default" which seems to put the newest designs from each store (whether mine or not) at the top. It's a nice mix of styles and designs... if there were a way to get mine to be always at the top, I would. But haven't found a way to do that!
