Ok i installed the new updates but it erased all my products and messed my whole site up, then i just reuploaded the old files and some stuff came back.

The problems i have now once i hit add to cart i get a new page which says

"We're Sorry! We've been busy housecleaning and the page you're looking for could not be found. It may have been renamed, moved, or deleted. Please check the URL for spelling, capitalization, and punctuation errors."

What can i do about this, i tried adding the store i removing teh store id everything but i still keep getting that error!

Any help would be great, thank you!!

First of all, when you updated your site, did you accidentally upload the full version?

You've also now got a *really* old version of the script on your site.

Okay, well, you've got to update your shop to the latest version.

This time, make sure you download the update version and NOT the full version, to make sure you don't overwrite your current installation.  (cpshop backs up your configuration info just in case, but you can still lose stuff.)

1. Download this (you may need your cpshop download info):

http://www.marty.net/scripts/cpshop/dist/index.cgi/cpshop-current-Unix-update.zip

2. Upload the contents of that zip file to your cpshop install directory.

3. Clear your cpshop cache.

4. Test your shop.

I am still having cart problems myself in IE8, with latest cpshop updates....

when you hit "add to cart" and go to cart, if the customer hits "continue shopping" it uses a faulty javascript message error and you go to CP homepage with a "OOPS" 404 error.

it only does this in IE8.  if you are in FF or older browser its not a problem.

I noticed a slightly different yet related problem. If I add something to my cart, then hit "keep shopping", it goes back to my store BUT if I then click on my shopping cart (after redirecting back to my store), the cart is empty. It's not saving anything I add to it I'm using IE8 and have updated to the latest version of cpshop. Just checked with Firefox and it's doing the same thing.

Marty, please let us know what you find out.

What's your cpshop URL?  I can't replicate that problem at all.

Strange...I just tried it again and now it seems to be holding items in the cart. Maybe it was a glitch on CP's end? I'll keep testing it over the next few days.
