Thanks Kristen - the only problem is that the CPDEFAULT doesn't keep the person within my template so I lose branding. It also has CP branding in the footer as well as title bar. Not liking it but I guess I could make it work until a real fix is found.

Thanks!

Shannon, unless you have a matching premium shop for your cpshop, with the same template, I believe this is the closest we get to a non-branded cart.

If you do have a matching premium shop, make sure you use THAT as the 'dummy' instead and also pass the variable 's=mypremiumshopid' in any hard-coded 'view cart' links you have in your template on your cpshop site.

But yes, it's not having the shopping cart in our cpshop template, but cpdefault is as close as it gets.

Kristen,

What is 's=mypremiumshopid'?

Never heard of this one!

====

Hazeleyes, this script works for me, from the Podforyou forum:

Has to go between the <style type="text/css"></style> tags, either in the Header or the HEAD section @ your CP Customize HTML page -- wherever your style tags are.

Sally - that bit was just about passing a variable in a link.  For instance, you could link to your cart with link:

http://www.cafepress.com/cp/viewcart.aspx?s=CPDEFAULT&keepshopping=http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com

In the example above s=CPDEFAULT means that cafepress knows that you want the shopping cart to look like the cart in the CPDEFAULT shop (which is basically plain white).  If you put one of your own premium shop IDs there instead, that link would still take you to the same shopping cart, but it would look like your own premium shop, using that template instead of the plain white one of the CPDEFAULT shop.  And the 'keepshopping' part is how a link passes THAT information to the cafepress shopping cart.

Sally, I think it's  just the "yourstoreid" part in the cart link you hard code on your site

Marty, thanks for the help, but what I would like is that when they click on the keep shopping button, the shopper ends back where they were  before going to the cart.

My cart has always been the CPDEFAULT cart.  I have not done anything to it yet.  I was working on other things.

Now my cart will not stay open at all.  I didn't do anything.  ??

See if it stays open for you.  It opens in a new window, and then closes and goes by by.

(the only change I have made is the script/style in the Premium Shop HTML to stop the coupon in the cart)  Do you think that is doing this?  My cart works ok in the Premium store teammascots.

Cindy, it disappeared for me too - the second tab it opened into just closed pretty much right after it opened (firefox).  Have you tried removing that code and seeing if it still happens?  Do you have the 'offer' code between the 'style' on/off html codes?

Yes it was in the styles, and it worked before, just the keep shopping did not work.

I removed the offer from my premium shop and cleared cache, refreshed, etc, and it still goes away.

I changed the cart to my premium store cart and it stays open now.  I don't care anymore that the keep shopping does not work.  They can close the new window.

Does anyone know - if you use the CPDEFAULT cart and you have affiliate products in your cpshop, will your affiliate cookie get overwritten? I carry other people's designs in my shop and want to make sure my CJ cookie doesn't get removed.

CPDEFAULT has never overridden cookies in the past, I doubt it would start now?

Might have been a custom JS issue.  Try using cpdefault again now, and let me know what happens.

Edit:
To clarify -- I'm talking about the window closing by itself issue.  cpdefault doesn't override any cookies.
