index.cgi multiplies problem

Hi, this is the link to view my CPSHOP:
http://ironydesign.com/store/index.cgi

When I browse it often adds a lot of "index.cgi" to the URL:

http://www.ironydesign.com/store/index.cgi/index.cgi/index.cgi/index.cgi

What happens is after a while the sections are not showing up nor the images/banner.

I have no idea what is causing this and how I can fix this. Can anyone guide me or have any idea what the problem would be?

Thanks so much!!!

In cpshop admin cp:

Under "Other Display Options"

Under "SEOify links? (experimental!)"

" use built-in SEO-friendly URLs, and end them with" ________________.

remove the "index.cgi" and replace with ".html".

I don't know if it's me but I can't login the admin area. I get this error:

lscgid: execve():/home/irony/public_html/store/cpadmin.cgi: Permission denied

Your password may have become corrupted or invalid.  Open your admincp.cgi file in a text browser and verify your password is correct.

It shows my correct password with no error.

When I load the cpadmin.cgi in my browser, it doesn't even ask me for my password, it just shows that error I pasted above.

That's great!  Now remove that "..." in that blank from my first suggestion and end it with simply ".html" in the blank.

I checked the other options section and
" use built-in SEO-friendly URLs, and end them with" ________________.

is already selected and .html was already entered in that field.

Ok I see what's going on.... your cpshop is setup correctly from what I can see as far as seo friendly urls....

it's your index main page that contains some links that end in "--...html"

Check out your homepage and use "find and replace" in html editor.  Find any urls that end in "--...html" and replace with ".html"

Easy fix hopefully....

Ok, thanks! That sounds right because I had to fix all my images a couple of months ago, most had ... in the url as well. It was because of the HTML editor I was using. I will try what you suggested, thanks!

Hi KaptainMike,
I can't find any ...html in the source code.

I see the links like this:
<a href="index.cgi/adhd">adhd</a>

and when I add the whole URL like this:
<a href="http://ironydesign.com/store/index.cgi/adhdindex.cgi/adhd">adhd</a>

I saved and replaced the file, but it changes it back to the former one.

?

I noticed your logo url link in the upper left corner is like this:
Code:
http://www.ironydesign.com/store/index.cgi/index.cgi

The "...html" link suffixes seem to be in your "Some of our Popular Designs" html code.

Ok I see what you mean with the ...html on the "Some of our Popular Designs" html code.
I looked and what I see is:

index.cgi/adult.ironydesigns.2493156+shit-happens-...html

I don't have time to fix it tonight, but will tomorrow. Thanks so much for your time, KaptainMyke! I have been trying to get to the bottom of my problem for a few months.
