Hi all, just started to install CPshop and it looks as though I've fallen at the first hurdle!

I'm having trouble setting the permissions on the script files.  I have an ftp program that can change permissions (cyberduck for mac OSX) but every time I try and do so I get an error like this-

SITE CHMOD 644 cpshop.cgi.images
550 Could not change perms on cpshop.cgi.images: No such file or directory.

I've tried to look into it and I've discovered that some (or maybe most?) webhosts restrict the permissions you can give a file.

However, I can't seem to change the permissions on the files at all (even tried uploading using another ftp program on a windows machine to no avail)

We're currently hosted on fasthosts ( though I also have server space on 50webs advanced plan if we need to change.

Has anyone else run into this chmod problem and if so how did you get around it? Many thanks in advance!
