Install on GoDaddy problem

I followed the install instructions.
Read the thread on GoDaddy compatibility.

Still not working.

I've installed in the root, CGI directory and CGI/store directories.  Pretty much same results all around.

What works (or at least seems too)
- cptest.cgi
- cpstore.cgi (but only brings up default stuff from install).

What doesn't - cgiadmin.cgi

That said, I suspect that the permissions aren't being set correctly (or I'm missing something else).  I've set the permissions via the file manager in GoDaddy's host config. screens.  I've tried a few diff things including making all of them essentially 777 (web visible, executable, rwe for owner and web user).  What I don't see is the equiv of "group" that shows that's in CMOD.  I can't do via FTP or other means at the moment.

Any thoughts?

Oh, forgot to add-- when executing cpadmin, I get a 500 Internal server error.

I seem to have found the problem and boy do I feel like a dolt!

While changing the password in cgiadmin, I reformated the file so I could read it in Windows.  Well, that ads a CR-LF to the file.

For linux/unix that is anti-good when it comes to perl/cgi (on Godaddy anyway).  I found it in the Godaddy docs.

At least I can access/run cgiadmin now.  Let's see if it does the rest.  8-)
