Marty, you and your organization sucks. I am tired of getting dozens of e-mails from your company telling me to pick up postcards from a "family member" when in fact the links are sales offers.

I have reported you to your ISP for spamming. You can't even follow the FEDERAL LAW and include a removal link.

Dan,

I'm not sending those emails.  There are a bunch of spammy companies and people out there that have swiped my postcard site's notification emails and turned them into either spam or virus mails.

And there's nothing I can do about it either.  It's the same thing as me writing a letter to somebody and signing it with your name and address.  There's just no way to stop it.

This kind of thing happens all the time. I've had people use my domain name too, and Marty's right there's nothing you can do about it, unfortunately.

Same thing has happened to me, Mary. I was able to fight one of the worst offenders though. I asked the complainant to forward the emails to me. After clicking on the sales links, I was able to identify the merchants being promoted. Then I sent all the information to the merchant to deal with their spamming affiliate. That helped but it took a little time and effort. Doesn't help with the virus issue though.

I see "Dan" isn't big enough to do a quick search on Google for "Spoofing" and apologize here.

I'm surprised anyone gets fooled by that tactic anymore?
