Site redirect question with new cpshop store

Hey all, I just got done creating a new site using CSS for my store using cpshop.

http://www.terraformtees.com

Here's the old store:

http://www.cafepress.com/terraformtees

My question{s} is this... Does having two stores with effectively duplicate text hurt me in Google? If I set up a re-direct script at my old store to bring people to the new shop will that affect anything negatively, or will it keep google from caching the old one? (which is what I'd like to do).

How do I get google to index my new site rather than my old cafepress site? I thought I could do a 301 redirect from cafepress, but of course I can't edit the .htaccess file from there =)

Thank you for your help and this great script!

I'm pretty new to this myself but in step 4 of the installation guide at marty.net it describes what to do to redirect your site.  Here's what it says to do:
Login to CafePress.
Find your store in the list of stores, and click the "Customize" link next to it.
Scroll down to the bottom of the customization page, and in the "Store Description" box, enter this code, changing the URL to the correct final address you plan to use for cpshop.cgi:

<script src="http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/store/cpshop.cgi?js"></script>

Then press the submit button to save your changes.
